Two Dodgers Pitchers Beginning Rehab Assignments; Back Next Week
The Los Angeles Dodgers will be receiving two reliable bullpen arms soon.
Pitchers Brusdar Graterol and Blake Treinen are beginning rehab assignments with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.
Both pitchers recently threw sim games, with Treinen hitting 98 MPH and Graterol touching 100 MPH.
Dave Roberts said the plan is to have Blake Treinen and Brusdar Graterol in Triple-A OKC on Friday to begin rehab. Treinen touched 98 and Graterol hit 100 in sim game.

On the injured list since mid-July, Graterol will most likely be an option for the Dodgers by the end of next week. The twenty-three-year-old has posted a strong 3.35 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts across 40 innings. He's also converted three saves this season.
Treinen will report to Triple-A Oklahoma as well and will most likely need more rehab appearances given that he has not appeared in a game since April 14 due to a shoulder issue. Regardless, Treinen should be a high-leverage arm for the Dodgers down the stretch. He's only appeared in three innings this season.
