Texas Rangers Sign Pitcher
The Texas Rangers have signed Tyler Duffey to a minor league contract.
Duffey was recently let go by the Minnesota Twins. In 40 games on the year, he has a 2-4 record to go along with a 4.91 ERA. Now he will be aiming to impress in the minors in hopes of landing an eventual call-up to the Rangers' major league roster.
Duffey's immense experience should help his case of getting a call-up. In 295 career games, all with Minnesota, he has a 29-27 record and 4.57 ERA.
