Texas Rangers Send Pitcher Down To Triple-A
The Texas Rangers have sent down Yerry Rodriguez to Triple-A Round Rock.
Rodriguez was recently called up to the Rangers' major league squad but, unfortunately, did not make his MLB debut during it. Now, he will be heading back to Triple-A and will aim to impress in hopes of landing another call-up later on in the season.

Rodriguez has split this season in Triple-A, where he has had mixed results. In 38 appearances on the year, he has a 3-1 record to go along with a 4.98 ERA. Let's see if he can find more consistency in response to this demotion from here.
We asked Yerry Rodriguez how he was told he was being called up. Said in hotel lobby, a coach asked “Hey, are you gonna go up to the major leagues with that hair?”

He laughed and said “Of course!”
And that’s when they told him he was being called up.
