Texas Rangers Pitcher Hits Injured List

The Texas Rangers have placed Joe Barlow on the 15-day injured list due to a finger blister.

Barlow's absence will be noted, as he has had a strong second season with the Rangers. In 31 games, he sports a 3-1 record to go along with a 3.16 ERA. With that, he also has recorded 13 saves.

Although the Rangers are not in the playoff hunt, it still stings to lose one of their top relievers in Barlow. Here's to hoping that he can return to the mound as soon as this stint on the 15-day IL passes.
