Texas Rangers Call Up Pitcher

The Texas Rangers have called up A.J. Alexy to their major league roster.

Alexy's call-up is in response to Joe Barlow's recent placement on the 15-day injured list. Alexy will now have another chance for the Rangers and will be aiming to take advantage of it.

In six career appearances for the Rangers, Alexy has a 3-1 record to go along with a 5.40 ERA. Let's see if he can improve those career stats during this call-up. If he performs well, it could be what allows him to maintain a permanent spot in their bullpen.
