Tampa Bay Rays Pitcher Clears Waivers
The Tampa Bay Rays won't be losing Ralph Garza Jr. after all. The 28-year-old pitcher has cleared waivers and now has been outrighted to Triple-A Durham.
Garza Jr. was recently designated for assignment by the Rays, so there was a good chance that he would find a new home. Furthermore, he also has been effective when called up to Tampa Bay, as his 2-2 record and 3.34 ERA in 19 games show perfectly.
With how well Garza Jr. pitched for the Rays this season, it wouldn't be too surprising to see him get another call-up before the 2022 season is over.
