St. Louis Cardinals Pitcher Set To Return On Labor Day

Jack Flaherty is just about ready to return for the St. Louis Cardinals. According to Jeff Jones, Flaherty will make one rehab start before heading back to the Cardinals on Labor Day.

This is excellent news, as Flaherty has missed the vast majority of this season. The Cardinals certainly have missed him when noting that he has been one of their best pitchers for several seasons. Now, the Cardinals are getting him back at a crucial part of the season.

In three starts this season, Flaherty has a 0-0 record and 5.63 ERA.
