Seattle Mariners Outfielder Heading To Triple-A
The Seattle Mariners have sent prospect Jarred Kelenic back down to Triple-A Tacoma.
Kelenic has struggled mightily this season in the majors, so perhaps this is a move that could have been predicted. In 40 games, the outfielder has four home runs, 12 RBIs, and a very low .124 batting average. The youngster just has had trouble finding success in the majors, so he will be aiming to heat back up in Triple-A.
With Tacoma this season, Kelenic has hit quite well, however. In 54 games, he has 11 home runs, 40 RBIs, and a .293 batting average. Let's see if he can keep that going during this demotion.
