Seattle Mariners Outfielder Elects Free Agency
After being designated for assignment and clearing waivers, Travis Jankowski has decided to move on from the Seattle Mariners and become a free agent.
Jankowski just joined the Mariners recently and only appeared in one game for the squad. Instead, he primarily has spent the 2022 season with the New York Mets. In 44 games on the year, he has zero home runs, two RBIs, and a .164 batting average.
Teams looking for more outfield depth could look to sign Jankowski from here. He is noted for his strong fielding ability and speed, so he wouldn't be a bad extra outfielder to have.
