San Francisco Giants Pitcher Done For The Season
Jose Alvarez is done for the 2022 season, as he has had a setback during his injury rehab. Furthermore, he is also likely to get Tommy John surgery.
This is certainly tough to hear, as Alvarez was aiming to end the year on a high note. The 2022 season has been rough for him, as he has a 2-1 record but a very high 5.28 ERA. Unfortunately, he will now not have the chance to rebound.
Alvarez is expected to get a second opinion about Tommy John surgery, but it is more likely than not that he will be getting it. As a result of this, he could miss the entirety of the 2023 season as well.
