San Francisco Giants Call Up Outfielder
The San Francisco Giants are giving Bryce Johnson a chance, as he has been called up to the major league squad.
Johnson made his debut for the Giants, where he went 0-2 at the plate. Although that wasn't the kind of start that the rookie outfielder was looking for, he should have more chances from here. It will be intriguing to see what he can do when given those opportunities.
In 74 games this season with Triple-A Sacramento, Johnson has five home runs, 24 RBIs, and a .283 batting average. Overall, it has been a solid year for him. He will be aiming to translate that over to the majors from here.
