San Diego Padres Pitcher Has Surgery
San Diego Padres pitcher Austin Adams has had forearm surgery. With this, Adams' 2022 season is officially over, and he could miss time next year as well.
It's hard not to feel bad for Adams. He essentially lost all of this season due to his injury. In two appearances on the year, he looked quite solid, as he threw 2.1 scoreless innings.
Here's to hoping that Adams has a speedy recovery and can return to the hill right at the start of the 2023 season. Yet, due to the severity of this surgery, that isn't a guarantee.
