The Kansas City Royals are losing a pretty decent bullpen arm.
The Royals have placed reliever Taylor Clarke on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to August 08, with a left oblique strain.

It's not yet known how bad the strain is, but oblique strains are not typically minimum stays on the IL.
The twenty-nine-year-old has been decent for the Royals this season, posting an ERA of 4.02, 1.19 WHIP, and 44 strikeouts across 47 innings. He's also converted two saves for the team.
Before this season, Clarke pitched three seasons for the Arizona Diamondbacks, throwing a 4.99 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and 147 strikeouts across 171 innings. He also started 20 games in those seasons.
