Stanton said his rehab games have gone off without pain thus far, so he should be on target for the start of their West Coast road trip in Oakland on Thursday.

Said the tendinitis in his left Achilles has been improving daily. Next test will be live BP vs Luis Severino on Tuesday.
One note of caution is that he still feels some lingering pain in the Achilles, often in the mornings, and would prefer it if he can avoid playing the outfield, at least at the start.
