Red Sox Outfielder to Return Next Week; Beginning Rehab Assignment Wednesday
The Boston Red Sox keep receiving good news regarding their injured players.
Outfielder Kike Hernandez will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Wednesday.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Hernandez "felt great" since resuming swinging a bat.
The thirty-year-old is progressing toward a return to the Red Sox lineup after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection in his right hip just before the All-Star break.
With rookie Jarren Duran being featured several times on the "Top Misplays of the Month", the Red Sox will happily replace him in center field with Hernandez.
He'll most likely need a decent amount of rehab appearances given that he has not played since early June. However, he could find his timing sooner than expected. Regardless, there's a good chance he's back with the Red Sox sometime next week.
In 51 games this season, Hernandez has hit .209, with four home runs and 24 RBIs.
