Rays Activate Two Pitchers from IL
The Tampa Bay Rays are getting two pitchers back from the injured list.
The club has activated JT Chargois from the 60-day injured list.
The Rays have reinstated RH JT Chargois (left oblique tightness) and LH Brendan McKay (recovery from TOS decompression surgery) from the 60-day IL and optioned McKay to Durham. To make room on the 40-man roster, RH Kevin Herget and RH Tommy Romero were designated for assignment.

Chargois rejoins the Rays' bullpen for the first time since suffering an oblique injury back in early April. He apparently suffered multiple setbacks in his recovery and rehab, but is finally healthy now.
The thirty-one-year-old appeared in 23 innings with the Rays last season, posting a spectacular 1.90 ERA and 24 strikeouts over 23 innings.
The Rays have also activated pitcher Brendan McKay from the 60-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Durham.
