Pittsburgh Pirates Release First Baseman
The Pittsburgh Pirates have officially released Yoshi Tsutsugo.
Tsutsugo was designated for assignment by the Pirates last week, so this is a move that was expected. Now, the first baseman will be hoping to find a deal with a new team from here.
Teams looking for a bit more depth at first base should certainly give Tsutsugo a call. In 182 career games, he has 18 home runs, 75 RBIs, and a .197 batting average.
