The Philadelphia Phillies have placed Zach Wheeler on the 15-day injured list.

Wheeler has had a solid year for the Phillies, so it will hurt having him out for the next 15 days at least. In 23 appearances this campaign, he has an 11-7 record to go along with a 3.07 ERA.

It will be intriguing to see how long the 192-game veteran has to miss from here. Here's to hoping that his injury doesn't require a second stint on the IL after this one.
