Orioles Call Up Their No. 9 Ranked Prospect

The Baltimore Orioles have selected the contract of outfielder Kyle Stowers from Triple-A Norfolk.

Stowers is the Orioles' ninth-ranked prospect, according to MLB Pipeline.

In 95 games at the Triple-A level this season, Stowers has hit .264/.357/.527, with 19 home runs, 78 RBIs and 54 runs scored.

The twenty-four-year-old got his first taste of major league action earlier this season, playing just two games, recording a double and an RBI. 

Stowers was a second-round pick of the Baltimore Orioles in the 2019 MLB Draft.
