Oakland Athletics Release Outfielder

Stephen Piscotty's time as an Oakland Athletic is over, as the team has released him. 

Piscotty began his tenure with Oakland by putting together an impressive 27-home run campaign in 2018. Since then, however, he has dealt with serious injury trouble and has struggled at the plate as a result of it. This season is an all-time low for him, though, as he has a .190 batting average in 42 games. His struggles had led the A's to move on from him, and now he will be hoping to find a new home from here.

There could be a team who believes that Piscotty can turn it around, so he definitely could find a new home. In 726 career games, he has 93 home runs, 354 RBIs, and a .255 batting average.
