Oakland Athletics Call Up Outfielder

The Oakland Athletics have called up Cal Stevenson to their major league roster.

This promotion is deserved, as Stevenson has been playing quite well since joining Triple-A Las Vegas. In 16 games with the club, he has three home runs, eight RBIs, and a .305 batting average. Clearly his ability to make contact has grabbed the attention of the A's, and now he has earned this call-up because of it.

It will be intriguing to see how Stevenson performs now as a member of the A's major league squad.
