New York Yankees & St. Louis Cardinals Complete Trade
The St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees have made a move, as Jordan Montgomery is heading to St. Louis, while Harrison Bader is on his way to the Big Apple.
The Cardinals headed into the deadline with the expectation of adding at least one starter. Now, they have done just that by acquiring Montgomery from the Bronx Bombers. In 21 games this season, Montgomery has a 3-3 record to go along with a 3.69 ERA.
Bader, on the other hand, will give the Yankees another solid outfielder as they prepare for the playoffs. In 72 games this season with the Cards, Bader has five home runs, 21 RBIs, and a .256 batting average.
