New York Mets Release 2 Players
The New York Mets have released Johneshwy Fargas and Tzu-Wei Lin.
Fargas had been hoping to receive a call-up by the Mets this season, but that just never came to fruition. Now, the outfielder will be aiming to find a new home elsewhere from here. In 22 career games over his MLB career, he has zero home runs, five RBIs, and a .250 batting average.
Lin also was unable to receive a call-up by the Mets, too. In 102 career games between the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, he has one home run, 12 RBIs, and a .223 batting average.
