New York Mets Pitcher Clears Waivers
New York Mets pitcher Nate Fisher has cleared waivers and has been assigned back to Triple-A Syracuse.
Fisher made his first MLB appearance last week, where he threw three scoreless innings. Even after having such a solid debut, he still found himself on waivers. Yet, he will now be sticking with the Mets as a part of their pitching depth.
If Fisher performs well following this demotion, it will be intriguing to see if the Mets elect to call him up before the season is over. Time will tell what happens on that front.
