New York Mets Outfielder Clears Waivers
After being designated for assignment by the New York Mets, Nick Plummer has cleared waivers and will now be heading to Triple-A Syracuse.
Plummer appeared in 14 games for the Mets this season, where he had two home runs, six RBIs, and a .138 batting average. Although he struggled a bit in the majors when called up, there seemed to be a decent chance that he would get claimed because of his young age and potential. Yet, that did not happen, and he will remain a part of the Mets' depth.

Plummer will be hoping to end the year on a high note, as it could be exactly what gets him placed on the Mets' 40-man roster again.
