New York Mets Bring Back Outfielder
The New York Mets have signed Travis Jankowski to a minor league contract.
Jankowski spent the beginning of this season with the Mets, where he appeared in 43 games. During them, he had two RBIs to go along with a .164 batting average. Although he notably struggled at the plate, his strong fielding ability will once again make him a decent depth option for the Mets to have.
In 470 career games, Jankowski has nine home runs, 54 RBIs, and a .236 batting average.
