MLB Rumors: Veteran Reliever Linked To Toronto Blue Jays

According to Ben Nicholson-Smith, the Toronto Blue Jays are one of the teams currently interested in Ken Giles.

Giles recently elected to become a free agent instead of accepting an outright assignment by the Seattle Mariners. Now, Giles is getting interest from several teams, but the Blue Jays appear to be potential frontrunners in the sweepstakes.

After missing all of 2021, Giles returned this season and looked solid. In five appearances, he did not allow a run in 4.1 innings pitched. It will be intriguing to see if that and his solid MLB resume will allow him to get a deal soon. Let's see if a reunion with the Blue Jays is on the way.
