MLB Rumors: Trade Talks Heating Up For Chicago Cubs Pitcher
The Cubs will be sporting a much different-looking roster by the end of the day. One player who is starting to get a lot of attention on the market is Drew Smyly.
Smyly has the potential to be a solid addition to a playoff team's bottom half of the rotation. The 230-game veteran has had a decent year with the Cubs, as he sports a 3-6 record to go along with a 4.42 ERA. Although he hasn't been a perfect, his losing record is largely because of how poorly the Cubs have played in front of him.
It will be intriguing to see where Smyly ends up from here. Some potential fits include the Twins, Blue Jays, and Rays.
