MLB Rumors: Rich Hill Discusses Playing Future
While speaking with Rob Bradford of WEEI, Boston Red Sox pitcher Rich Hill said that he feels capable of pitching next season. However, he also noted that he wants to spend more time with his family and is open to the idea of joining a team mid-season because of it.
It would be intriguing to see Hill take some time off and then come back in the middle of what would be his age-43 season. It's something that the Massachusetts native is clearly considering.
In 18 appearances this season with the Red Sox, Hill has a 5-5 record to go along with a 4.68 ERA.
