MLB Rumors: New York Mets Want To Re-Sign Outfielder

According to Mike Puma, the New York Mets want to re-sign Brandon Nimmo this offseason.

Nimmo is a pending UFA, but if the Mets have it their way, he will be with them next season. It is understandable that the Mets want to re-sign him, as he has had a solid 2022 season. In 103 games on the year, he has 10 home runs, 40 RBIs, and a .269 batting average.

It will be intriguing to see if a deal between the two parties can be finalized from here.
