MLB Rumors: Houston Astros And Boston Red Sox Talking Trade

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Astros are expressing interest in Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez.

After an embarrassing collapse, the Red Sox went from looking like a playoff team to sellers. As a result of this, Vazquez is expected to be moved, as he is a pending UFA. With the Astros looking for an upgrade at catcher, it makes sense that he is on their radar.

Vazquez has been having a solid year at the plate, too. In 84 games, he has eight home runs, 42 RBIs, and a .282 batting average. That kind of production would be nice for Houston to add to their lineup, so let's see if a move comes to fruition.
