MLB Rumors: 2 Kansas City Royals Relievers To Be Traded
According to Mark Feinsand, trade talks centering around Royals relievers Josh Staumont and Scott Barlow are heating up.
The Royals are huge sellers this deadline season, so it isn't surprising to see that these two relievers are now likely on the way out.
Stamount has made 34 appearances for KC this season, where he sports a 2-1 record to go along with a 4.11 ERA. Overall, he has the potential to be a very solid addition even if his 2022 season hasn't been perfect. Keep in mind, he just had a 2.88 ERA in 64 games for KC last season.
Barlow, on the other hand, has been quite solid for the Royals this season. In 45 games on the year, he has a 4-4 record and 2.36 ERA. Whoever lands him will certainly be improving their bullpen.
