Minnesota Twins Outfielder Heading To Triple-A
The Minnesota Twins have sent down Mark Contreras to Triple-A St. Paul.
Contreras was recently called up to the Twins' major league roster, but now he is once again heading to the minors. In 12 games this season with Minnesota, he has two home runs, four RBIs, and a .120 batting average.
Contreras will remain on the Twins' 40-man roster, so a potential call-up later in the season is certainly on the table. Yet, he will need to impress down in Triple-A to have any chance of that occurring.
