Milwaukee Brewers Pitcher Likely Done For Season
While speaking with reporters, Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell said that Trevor Rosenthal is likely out for the rest of the season due to a lat injury he has suffered.
Rosenthal has not pitched in the majors since the 2020 season and was on his way to changing that with the Brewers. Yet, this lat injury has, unfortunately, ruined his chances of doing so. Now, the veteran will have missed two straight seasons.
It is truly a shame that Rosenthal has had this occur during his rehab assignment, as all baseball fans were rooting for his return. In 373 career MLB games, he has a 12-25 record, 3.36 ERA, and 132 saves.
