Miami Marlins Pitcher Sent Down To Triple-A
The Miami Marlins have sent Jeff Brigham down to Triple-A.
Brigham has appeared in five games for the Marlins this season, where he has a 3.72 ERA. Overall, he hasn't struggled too much when called upon by the Marlins, but that still wasn't enough for him to maintain his spot on the major league roster.
On the bright side, however, Brigham was not designated for assignment and still has a spot on the team's 40-man roster. Thus, he can be called up to the Marlins again with ease. It will be intriguing to see if Miami gives him another chance before the year is over.
