Miami Marlins Pitcher Placed On Injured List

The Miami Marlins will be without Braxton Garrett, as the team has placed him on the 15-day injured list with a right oblique strain.

Garrett was expected to start on Saturday for the Marlins, but this development obviously did not allow that to occur. Now, the Marlins won't have Garrett for the next two weeks at least.

In 13 games this season with the Marlins, Garrett sports a 2-6 record to go along with a 3.67 ERA. Unfortunately, his losing record is primarily due to playing for a 52-68 Marlins club.
