Miami Marlins Pitcher Clears Waivers

Miami Marlins pitcher Aneurys Zabala has cleared waivers and been outrighted to Triple-A Jacksonville.

Due to the fact this is the second time Zabala has been outrighted this campaign, he has the option to elect free agency if he chooses. At this juncture, a decision on that front has not been made by the reliever.

Zabala has made two appearances at the major league level this season, where he pitched 2.2 scoreless innings. It will be intriguing to see if he decides to test the free agent market from here.
