The Mets have not yet made a roster move to replace Guillorme, but he's heading to the injured list.
Guillorme suffered the injury on Sunday and was removed from the game after two at-bats. Obviously, the MRI did not come back with positive news, and now we just have to wait on official word regarding the injury.
Top prospects Brett Baty and Mark Vientos are not options at this time, according to manager Buck Showalter.
The obvious replacement for Guillorme would be Eduardo Escobar, however, he's also dealing with an injury of his own right now. It remains to be seen how this situation will play out.
The twenty-seven year old has hit a solid .283/.355/.357, with two home runs and 14 RBIs in 86 games this season.
