Marlins Officially Release First Baseman
The Miami Marlins have officially released Jesus Aguilar from their roster. Now the first baseman is a free agent.
Aguilar was designated for assignment by the Marlins. The former All-Star cleared waivers following the move and now will be aiming to find a new home from here.
Teams looking for a bit of insurance at first base should consider signing Aguilar. In 113 games this season, he has 15 home runs, 49 RBIs, and a .236 batting average.
