Mariners Rookie Phenom Expected to Return Friday; Still Has Lingering Soreness in Wrist
The Seattle Mariners' budding rookie superstar is expected to return on Friday, per manager Scott Servais.
Julio Rodriguez is eligible to be activated on Wednesday, but apparently still has a bit of lingering soreness in his right wrist. The Mariners will give him a couple days of rest before activating him on Friday.
Hopefully, he's completely healthy by Friday as it would not be a good idea to rush him back before then and run the risk of this injury turning into something bigger than it is right now.
Julio Rodríguez will not be activated when he’s eligible to tomorrow. He was still experiencing soreness in his right wrist when swinging in the cage yesterday … With an off-day on Thursday, Scott Servais is hopeful that he’ll be in lineup on Friday at Texas.

The twenty-one-year-old has not played since July 30, but was the clear Rookie-of-the-Year prior to that, slashing .271/.334/.482, with a ridiculous 18 home runs, 57 RBIs and 21 stolen bases across 96 games.
Let's hope Julio is healthy Friday and moving forward.
