Los Angeles Dodgers Call Up Pitcher

With Yency Almonte out for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the club has now called up Andre Jackson to their major league roster.

Jackson is now set to make his season debut with the major league club. He played in his first three MLB games last season with the Dodgers, where he sported a 0-1 record to go along with a 2.31 ERA.

This is a great opportunity for Jackson to try to prove to the Dodgers that he is ready to be a full-time reliever in the majors. In 16 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, he has a 1-6 record and 5.20 ERA.
