Los Angeles Angels Release Pitcher

The Los Angeles Angels have released Jesse Chavez from their roster.

Chavez was putting together a solid year for the Atlanta Braves but struggled immensely after being dealt to the Angels. In 11 games for the Halos, he had a 1-0 record but a disastrous 7.59 ERA. On the year, he has a 2-1 record and 3.62 ERA in 45 total games.

It will be intriguing to see if Chavez can find a new home from here. In 556 career games, he has a 46-61 record and 4.40 ERA.
