Los Angeles Angels Infielder Designated For Assignment
The Los Angeles Angels have designated Phil Gosselin for assignment.
Gosselin was claimed off waivers by the Angels earlier this season from the Atlanta Braves, but now he is heading back to the waiver wire from here.
In 34 games this season split between the Braves and Angels, Gosselin has zero home runs, two RBIs, and a .149 batting average. It hasn't been the best of seasons for the 497-game veteran, but teams could still be interested in him if they are in need of infield depth.
