Atlanta Braves Pitcher Placed On Injured List

The Atlanta Braves have placed Jackson Stephens on the seven-day concussion injured list.

This isn't a surprising development, as Stephens took a line drive straight to the head from Brendan Donovan. It is always scary when situations like that occur, so the Braves cannot rush Stephens back to the field. Thus, at a minimum, we will not be seeing him back on the mound for a week.

In 32 games this season, Stephens sports a 2-2 record to go along with a 3.89 ERA. Here's to hoping he has a speedy recovery.
