Houston Astros Utilityman Officially Placed On Injured List
There were rumblings that the Houston Astros would be placing Aledmys Diaz on the injured list, and now that has come to fruition. He is heading to the 10-day IL due to groin discomfort.
The Astros placed Aledmys Diaz on the 10-day Injured List due to left groin discomfort. Diaz left last night’s game after making a running catch in LF.

The Astros will certainly not be too thrilled to have Diaz out for the next 10 days at least. He is a very good player to have around because he can play multiple positions. With that, he has been quite solid this year. In 78 games, he has 10 home runs, 32 RBIs, and a .252 batting average.

Here's to hoping that Diaz has a speedy recovery and can get back on the field as soon as this stint on the 10-day IL is over.
