Have the Dodgers Fixed Joey Gallo?

Safe to say, Joey Gallo is enjoying his new home.

On trade deadline day, the Los Angeles Dodgers acquired Joey Gallo from the New York Yankees for pitching prospect Clayton Beeter.

Yankees fans rejoiced, Gallo was gone. Fair enough, he was absolutely brutal on the Yankees this season.

However, the trade also had some Yankees fans a little bit worried, as whenever the Dodgers swing a trade for a seemingly washed-up power hitter, one has to think they see something wrong in his approach that they can fix.

It appears that may have been the case here.

In nine games with the Dodgers, Gallo has smacked three home runs, five RBIs and four runs scored. He's also batting a very respectable .261/.346/.696. Oh, and he also has an absurd OPS of 1.042.

Sure, it's a small sample size, but the stats are still very impressive.
Gallo's latest home run came on Tuesday against one of the best pitchers in the game in Brandon Woodruff.

As a Yankee this season, Gallo was brutal, hitting .159/.282/.339, with 12 home runs and 24 RBIs in 82 games.

The Dodgers definitely saw something in the twenty-eight-year-old slugger that they could fix and, so far, it looks like it's working.

All in all, you can't help but be happy for Joey Gallo.
