Giants Get Three Players Back This Weekend

The San Francisco Giants will be getting some reinforcements this weekend.

Manager Gabe Kapler said the team expects Brandon Crawford and Joc Pederson back Saturday, with Thairo Estrada expected back on Sunday.

Pederson has not played since July 28, after crashing into the wall trying to rob a home run in a game against the Chicago Cubs, landing him on the 7-day injured list with a concussion. The thirty-year-old will return to a .811 OPS, with 17 home runs, 43 RBIs and three stolen bases in 87 games played this season.

Brandon Crawford played in a couple of rehab games and came out of them feeling fine other than a bit of soreness. Giants' manager Kapler said Crawford could be activated Saturday as long as everything progresses well these upcoming days. Crawford has hit .215, with five home runs and 33 RBIs this season.

Estrada also landed on the 7-day injured list last weekend with a concussion after getting hit in the head by a pitch. The twenty-six-year-old is having a solid season, batting .262/.316/.406, with nine home runs, 41 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in 90 games.
