For Some Strange Reason, Marcell Ozuna Was Back In The Braves Clubhouse On Friday

After his second arrest in two years, it's somewhat shocking that the Atlanta Braves even let Marcell Ozuna back in their clubhouse. But there he was on Friday afternoon, hours after spending the night in jail on a DUI, giving a short statement to the media.

"I disappointed my team, I disappointed my family. I don't have anything more to say. It's a legal matter."

The reaction from those who follow the Braves, and the sport, was, understandably, one of confusion.

The Braves have offered a statement on the matter, without addressing why Ozuna was back in the clubhouse.

The Atlanta Braves are aware of Marcell Ozuna’s arrest this morning and are still gathering all the facts pertaining to the incident. Our organization takes these matters very seriously and are obviously disappointed by the situation. As this is a legal matter, we will have no further comment until the process is complete.

Video has now leaked of the police-cam video of his arrest at 4am:
As we reported earlier today, former MLB GM Jim Bowden called Ozuna's actions "disgusting" and called on the Braves to sue him for breach of contract.
