Colorado Rockies Pitcher Placed On Injured List

The Colorado Rockies have placed Alex Colome on the 15-day injured list with tennis elbow.

Colome is often utilized by the Rockies, so his absence will be noticeable. In 46 games with the Rockies this season, he has a 2-6 record to go along with a 4.68 ERA.

The Rockies are currently not in the playoff race, so it isn't the end of the world that Colome is out of action. However, it is never the best thing ever when a team loses a piece of its pitching depth. Here's to hoping he has a speedy recovery from here.
