The Colorado Rockies have designated Robert Stephenson for assignment.

Stephenson has been used quite often by the Rockies this season but has struggled a lot. In 45 appearances, he has a 2-1 record but also a very high 6.04 ERA. As a result, perhaps some fans could have predicted this move to come to fruition.

Teams in need of some pitching depth could look to bring in Stephenson. In 198 career games over his MLB career, he has a 14-15 record to go along with a 4.97 ERA.
